Get up close and personal with the huge vintage engines and also see the inside of quite a few carriages now, like the old buffet car, or the first class sleeper carriages – oh take Mamma back to the golden age of the train travel please! The beauty and detail is awe inspiring.

You must also see the very cool model railway that was all hand made in the 50\’s. Say hi to Thomas while you are there!

Set against a backdrop of factories and complete with a replica station and signal house, this is a wonderfully unique place to visit. Locomotives come here to retire and there are some real beauties to admire.
