Update from Community Pitch 2019

While we missed out on Community Pitch in 2020, some of the projects that were supported in previous years include –

  • Sensory Toys Program for the West Footscray Toy Library
  • the Ladybird Ranger Yarraville Girl Guides Hiking Program
  • Wellbeing Program for VU Western Spurs
  • Absolute Beginners Band Program for Hyde Street Youth Band
  • An ipad to assist the lighting of the Footscray City College musical production
  • A “Library of Things” for the Sharing Shed
  • Westgate Concert Band’s presentation of Holst’s “The Planets”

Think you might be interested in applying for our next event?

Eligibility criteria includes –

  • Be an Incorporated Association or have current DGR status or be a community Non-For-Profit (NFP) organisation
  • Have a bank account with Seddon Community Bank Branch in order to receive funds (to be opened prior to 1st April)*
  • Be a community based organisation located in and delivers to Seddon, Yarraville, Kingsville, Footscray, West Footscray, Maidstone or Maribyrnong
  • Your ‘Pitch’ must be for a specific program or project, not for general fundraising
  • Be able to attend the live event (date to be determined)
