The Westsider was lucky enough to receive $1500 in pledges from the organisations and businesses involved in the 2018 Community Pitch. So far we have spent $600 of that on the purchase of two newsstands, and we are currently in the process of securing two talented local artists to work their magic on the stands, an activity which will require the balance of the funds received. Seeing those two completed newsstands in the community will hopefully serve as the kick start to finding sponsors and locations for the remainder of the newsstands we have access to in 2019.
